Vintage Mason & Parker Child’s Roll-Top Desk Easel

Description : Vintage Mason & Parker Mfg. Co. child’s wooden activity desk and easel featuring a folding work surface, dark writing panel, and an illustrated roll-top display operated by two side crank handles. The colorful roll includes transportation scenes with locomotives, rail cars, streetcars, a submarine, and an aircraft carrier. The original red maker’s label reads “Durable Mason & Parker Mfg. Co., Winchendon, Mass., Toys.” The oak-tone wooden frame shows scratches, finish wear, paint marks, and other evidence of childhood use, while the illustrated graphics retain strong color. An unusual American-made educational toy that works well as a collectible display piece or restoration project.
