The Haysmar Estate Collection
There are some homes that feel larger than architecture. The Haysmar Estate was one of them. Built in 1913 during Cleveland’s great era of craftsmanship and industrial prosperity, the Meade & Hamilton-designed home stood as a reminder of what thoughtful construction once looked like — hand-built millwork, leaded glass, solid wood doors, brass hardware, and materials designed to last for generations.
In partnership with Rebuilders Xchange, this estate is being opened to the community in a truly unique way, as a hands-on architectural estate sale where windows, doors, bathtubs, lighting, millwork, fixtures, and countless historic materials can be carefully purchased, salvaged, and given a second life prior to demolition. These salvaged architectural elements are available through a special online sale — giving homeowners, preservationists, artists, builders, and old-house lovers the chance to bring authentic history into their own spaces.
Here's How It Works:
Friday, May 22nd, the online sale goes live to the public.
May 29th and 30th from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
The estate will be open to the public for in-person viewing, purchasing, and planning for removal and preservation of purchased
pieces.
From June 1st–7th, scheduled pickup and deconstruction appointments will allow buyers to carefully preserve and remove their selections. For those looking for additional support, the RBX team will also offer professional salvage and deconstruction services for an additional fee.
Thank you for supporting reuse, preservation, and the idea that old materials still matter. The next chapter of this house is just beginning.
