This pair of vintage adjustable roller skates was manufactured by Globe Skate Corp. of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and features a clearly stamped "GLOBE" logo and full maker's mark on each footplate. Measuring 3" x 9 ¼" x 3 ¾" per skate, these steel clamp-on skates were designed to strap over shoes using the original brown leather toe and ankle straps. The double metal wheels with red hubs and an adjustable sliding frame make them a classic example of mid-century recreational gear. Though showing surface rust and aging, the skates retain full structure and are ideal for collectors, display, or vintage décor. Skate key not included.
