This vintage cast iron canopy, measuring 5 inches in diameter, was originally designed as a ceiling mount cover for pendant or hanging light fixtures. The canopy features a threaded center hole to accommodate downrods or fixture stems, and its underside retains traces of original yellow and brown paint, giving it a timeworn, industrial character.
