Description :
This worn brass strike plate features a curved lip edge and measures 2¼" tall by 1¾" wide. The central cutout is designed to catch a standard spring latch bolt, and two countersunk holes allow for easy installation on door jambs. The surface shows moderate oxidation and an aged patina, with remnants of dark lacquer or paint along one side—common in older installations. Its utilitarian shape and material make it ideal for vintage door restoration or rustic builds.
