Description :
This vintage brass ceiling canopy features a shallow dome shape with a central mounting hole and traces of an aged white overpaint finish. The original polished brass beneath the worn paint shows through, revealing a warm patina characteristic of mid-century hardware. Measuring 4¾" in diameter, this canopy would have originally served as a mounting cover for pendant or flush-mount light fixtures, concealing the junction box while providing a decorative transition to the ceiling. It’s an excellent piece for restoration or use in a custom lighting build where authentic vintage character is desired.
