Description :
This Union Bailey No. 7C jointer plane features a wood bottom and cast iron frame with a corrugated sole, designed for truing long boards and jointing edges. Measuring 15" long, 2 ¾" wide, and 6" tall, this classic tool retains its original hardwood front knob and rear handle, both showing a worn but intact patina. The casting is marked “BAILEY” at the front and “UNION” behind the frog, indicating manufacture during the Union Manufacturing Co.'s ownership of the Bailey design—prior to Stanley Works acquiring full rights.
