Description :
This is a matched set of three antique brass butt hinges with decorative ball-tip finials. Each hinge measures approximately 4" high by 2 ¾" wide when closed, with four countersunk screw holes per leaf. The hinges show a warm aged brass patina with areas of oxidation and surface wear consistent with age and use, adding to their authentic antique character.
The ball-tip finials were a popular decorative detail in the late 19th to early 20th century, often found on interior and exterior doors in Victorian, Edwardian, and early Craftsman homes. Hinges like these remain sought after for historic restoration projects, vintage furniture repair, or upscale architectural reuse.
