Salvaged Pink Wood Medicine Cabinet Mirror Door
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Description : Salvaged wood cabinet door with an inset rectangular mirror, pink painted front, white painted back, decorative metal hinges, and a small glass rosette-style knob. The mirror shows substantial age-related silvering loss, spotting, clouding, and dark marks that give it a naturally distressed appearance. The painted wood frame has chips, scratches, worn edges, and layers of older finish visible in several areas. Hanging wire has been added to the back, allowing the piece to be reused as a wall mirror, while the surviving hinges and knob retain its original cabinet-door character. A useful architectural salvage piece for restoration, repurposing, or decorative display.
Style
Traditional architectural salvage with distressed painted finish.
Technique
Wood stile-and-rail frame construction surrounding an inset glass mirror, finished with painted surfaces and applied metal hardware.
Tools Used
Woodworking saws, plane, router or molding tools, drill, screwdrivers, painting tools, glazing tools, and hardware installation tools.
History
Mirrored cabinet doors were commonly used on wall-mounted medicine and storage cabinets, combining a practical mirror with access to shallow interior storage. Salvaged examples are often reused today as standalone mirrors or incorporated into restoration projects.
