Description :
This set of two vintage steel backplates features a simple, utilitarian rectangular design with a circular collar for a standard doorknob and a skeleton keyhole below. Each plate measures 2 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches tall, with a slight 1/4-inch depth at the collar. They retain an aged brown painted finish on the front, with visible wear, scratches, and small areas of paint loss that add to their vintage character. The reverse side shows the original metal patina and some surface oxidation.
