Description :
This ornate wood valance or arch-top entry surround features symmetrical curved supports and fanburst relief carvings in each corner. Finished in a pale mint green paint, the piece exudes early 20th-century institutional elegance and was likely once used to frame a passageway, window, or shelving unit. Though it shows separation at the center joint, the piece is structurally salvageable and ideal for reuse in upscale interior decor, theatrical design, or restoration settings.
