Made from wrought bronze, this example has been later painted, though the ornate scrollwork and deeply cast Gothic-inspired motifs remain visible beneath the surface. The plate includes a standard knob spindle and keyhole cutout, fitting most mortise lock applications. These plates are prized for their weight, intricate detailing, and historical significance.
