Description :
This rare early 1900s intercom or switchboard-style telephone box features a wall-mount design with a hinged wooden case and painted front panel. The front includes a large metal speaker horn (for speaking into), a set of mechanical line buttons, and a matching black Bakelite earpiece attached with original cloth-wrapped wire. Inside, you’ll find the internal wiring and bell ringer mechanism, exposing early telephony craftsmanship. While its original paint shows wear and patina, the piece retains its character and mechanical integrity, making it ideal for collectors or steampunk décor.
