Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
Description : This antique wooden shoe stretcher features a classic two-part carved wood form operated by a long iron screw shaft with an oval turn-key handle. Designed to expand and shape leather footwear, it reflects traditional cobbler and household shoe-care tools from the late 19th to early 20th century. The warm patina, surface wear, and tool marks are consistent with age and use, adding to its authentic character.
Stamped markings are visible on the wood, including “Geo. H. Schleg” and “Mowbrays of All”, indicating period manufacturing and association with well-known shoe-care or tool makers. Vent holes along the sides and the robust threaded mechanism suggest it was intended for durable, repeated use. Today, it serves equally well as a functional antique or a sculptural display piece.
