Description : Description: Antique octagonal wooden crokinole game board featuring a circular playing surface with concentric scoring rings and eight metal pegs surrounding the center scoring hole. The board is framed by a recessed outer ditch finished in a contrasting green paint. A metal maker’s medallion inset into the playing surface is marked “CROKINOLE – PAT. APR. 25, 1880 – W.B. CROSS – NEW YORK,” giving this piece especially nice early game-room and sporting history. The reverse has a large recessed circular panel and substantial wood construction. Great as a collectible antique game board, game-room display, wall decor, or decorative architectural piece. Dimensions: Approx. 37 1/2" × 37 1/2" × 1 1/2" Condition: Antique condition with substantial age-related wear, including scratches, scuffs, finish loss, paint loss, cracking/separation around portions of the outer playing area, and general surface wear. Eight center pegs are present. Game pieces are not included. Please see photos for condition.
