The cast iron frame is clearly marked “STANDARD,” providing an identifiable manufacturer connection. The wooden drawers feature decorative recessed fronts and brass-tone ring pulls, while the iron frame incorporates flowing openwork patterns typical of early treadle sewing furniture. The original sewing machine and tabletop are no longer present, making this substantial salvaged base well suited for restoration or conversion into a console table, desk, vanity, worktable, or other one-of-a-kind reclaimed furniture project.
