Description : This antique quarter-sawn oak wardrobe features a classic knockdown construction with two full-height paneled doors, a generous interior hanging space, and three lower drawers for additional storage. The striking tiger oak grain is highlighted by its warm finish, while the molded cornice and simple paneled design reflect the restrained craftsmanship of the early 20th century. The wardrobe retains its original interior layout and appears to include its original hanging hardware. A paper label from J. Bedolsky Furniture Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, along with an additional shipping label referencing Evansville, Indiana, provides documented provenance. The lock escutcheon remains, although the key is missing. Minor wear, finish inconsistencies, and age-related marks are consistent with long-term use while preserving its authentic character.
