Antique Cast Iron Mortise Lockset with Painted Lever Handle & Escutcheon Plates

Description :
This antique mortise lockset features a solid cast iron lock body with original brass faceplate and a curved lever handle showing layers of distressed black paint. The handle is accompanied by two ornately shaped escutcheon plates, all with visible signs of aging and chipping that enhance its character. One plate measures approximately 5 ¾" and the other 2 ¾", both of which coordinate with the spindle and lock mechanism. The set includes keyhole cutouts but no key is provided. A classic architectural salvage piece ideal for restoration or vintage door builds.
