Description :
This antique solid brass strike plate features rounded corners and a single rectangular latch opening, originally designed for an early mortise or rim lockset. Measuring 2 ¾" wide by 2 1⁄16" long, it includes two countersunk screw holes for flush mounting into a door jamb. The plate retains its aged brass finish with traces of paint and light surface wear, giving it authentic character. A fine piece for restoring vintage interior or exterior doors while maintaining architectural integrity.
