Antique B.L. Marble Swivel Wood Office Chair

Description : Antique wooden swivel office armchair manufactured by The B. L. Marble Chair Co. of Bedford, Ohio. The chair features a broad curved back and arms, vertical slat back, shaped wood seat, adjustable mechanical swivel base, and five rolling casters. The original manufacturer tag identifies Chair No. 292 ½, and the underside is also marked “Property of College of Wooster,” adding institutional provenance. The black painted finish is heavily distressed with extensive scratches, chips, and exposed wood, giving the chair a strong salvaged character. The chair appears substantially complete, including its spring adjustment mechanism and casters. Comparable B.L.
