Description :
This substantial antique ceiling fixture base features a richly detailed urn-form column with neoclassical motifs—fluting, garland swags, and diamond patterns—flowing into five gracefully curved arms. Each arm originally held a socket (several remain), with vertically ribbed cups and a subtly stepped dish profile. Aged ivory or beige paint finish is chipped and worn, revealing cast iron and traces of earlier paint layers underneath. The piece exudes early 20th-century elegance and would make a striking restoration project or a sculptural repurpose.
